Key features of Aqua Way Philic:

Temperature-responsive polymer (PIPAAm) is synthesized and grafted to aminopropyl silica.

The surfaces of the grafted silica show hydrophobic properties at elevated temperature and, as temperature decreases, transforms to hydrophilic properties.

Separation selectivity and retention are controlled by controlling column temperature. Higher the temperature, the longer the retention time.

Relative advantages of Aqua Way-Philic:

Surface of the beads is deigned to enable direct analysis of human serum. 100% aqueous solution!

The surface of the beads is extremely resistent to the attachment of serum thus direct injection of the serum samples can be carried out.

Since organic solvents are no longer required for Aqua Way Philic, bioactivities of your targeted molecules can be maintained.

No more background noise which stems from the use of organic solvents.

Significantly reduces the cost and time required to optimize the separation method when compared to the case of using organic solvents.

Separation without the use of organic solvent itself would contribute to the reduction in waste and protection of our environment.

Applications:

Ideal for therapeutic drug monitoring of lead compounds which lacks appropriate antibody for ELIZA.

Suitable for separation of small molecules, peptides and proteins with small molecular weight.
